Oasi di Massaciuccoli [Virtual Reality]

The nature trail inside the Massaciuccoli Reserve consists of a wooden stilt walkway about 800 meters long, followed by a flat path through a small stretch of lowland wet woodland. It is a pleasant and evocative walk that immerses visitors in a unique environment, where one can observe the typical flora of marshes and hygrophilous forests, insects, fish, and other aquatic organisms—and, with a bit of attention, the various bird species that inhabit this area, which serves as an important stopover, wintering, and breeding site. The Virtual Tour of the Massaciuccoli Oasis guides the user to immersing them in a unique visual and sound experience. The panoramic images, captured in the heart of nature, are enriched by the songs of the birds that seasonally inhabit the oasis. Each species is represented with an illustration integrated into the photograph, highlighting its presence in the landscape.
